after years of slacking back, things are looking pretty good for vert roundwall skaters around colorado. denver is turning out to be quite a skate city with the skatecolorado ramp being bowled in inside the fallen warehouse; 2 team pain backyard pools done; the backyard vans clover is gonna be insane; north in longmont wally holiday via eric dawkins is building some sorta bowl (probably a mellow teaser); and tim altec (ft collins) is building another bowl. then in the rockies the landscape architects (whom i personally gave a swift kick in the ass) that built westminster are almost done with a vert pool coping bowl; grindline is almost done with a park in fairplay that has plenty of oververt and pool coping; and theres 2 backyard bowls around up there. got all that? heres a lil somethin

its kinda fucked up when my freinds and i think the best bowl in the state was built by non-skaters. but then we did go to the meetings and bitch for something gnarly, and we got it. the clover is 9 plus 1 in the deep (title 10s deep), 8 with 6" in the love seat (hailey) bowl and 7.5 with .5" of oververt (skatecolorado ramp) in the shallow. the steel coping is big and set almost perfect everywhere.

its official, grindline guaranteed 100% penrose pool coping in colorados first all pool coping park, the south park skatepark. construction will begin may 1 2005! and be done in time for burropallooza, the big fairplay town party. congrats to all involved in getting them there!

the westminster city park is looking sick, with it being almost half done, and pool coping is on the premises. x gaymes has some competition in the future, with the daggers are arriving this week to build an indoor private park with a 5 to 8 foot deep bowl in north denver. james, the captain of team pain crete, has plans for his denver backyard. fairplay by the end of the summer... mikes private bowl...

years ago this place ripped and hardly anyone knew about anything happening down there. now its even more ridiculous. grindline is finishing up a park in jacksonville (shaggy and lil eddie going off), daves got a killer pool in his backyard, hiler has his complex, theres pools all over the place, and theres good parks with good bowls all over the place. disney world is way overrated.
