Like for example we got money to finish the jacksonville skate park and Dirty dick Dawkins moved back to medford to finish it up he's talking about a bowl called the "Sleeping Beauty" and adding a full pipe to the plans since thats essential in a sick park now. So get back to soon and I'll let you know was happenin out here. Oh yeah one more thing Portland has set aside $500,000 to build their new skate park. They are having an online survey to find out what skaters would like to see at there park. just got the lodown from science, who is very stoaked to be apart of grindline parks. the fullpipe will be 35' wide, 16' dia with a snake run leadind into it and a crazy wall transfer to get out. the snake run will be out of hand with different trannys, levels and hardly any flat. then theres the 10' high 3' of oververt escalating down thingy. some walls are 10 with one, others are 5' radius 5' high. itll be done mid nov....

its kinda ironic, we've (tuck, cam, jerry, science) been talking shit about the bayview rumble since we've know about it (about 2 weeks). we were amped cuz we knew we could keep up with the best of them in that situation, but would never get the chance. then lo and behold bruce calls me yesterday and says its on, the bayview rumblers are having a picnic at the skatecolorado mini/ bowl. the arvada army got beers, buds and boards and headed to boulder to get in the rumble.

it was the sickest session ever! tony trujillo was on from the getgo, so much fun to watch. kosten was in the heat of the session and even seen drinking pbr. drehobal, randy colvin and scott borne got a few runs in. dennis busnitz (you know who i mean) was going real fast. dustin dollin was drunk as shit and slamming everywhere. rune and remy were getting off on the oververt. saw mckrank and tosh in there for a bit. there were others, but i dont know names. sitting around were the likes of the butcher, ethan fowler, nate jones, darrel stanton, caswell, and jake phelps (musta been hell riders day off). so thats who we skated with and pumped us up for a damn fine session. ill be curious to see how the results of that spot come out, but i know the arvada army was up near the top.

perhaps the most amusing part of this evening was kostens entourage coming up to science and saying they would get extra scavanger points if eric grinded under a science boneless. so science did a barefoot hop hop bonless and eric got his grind and extra points. we should get some points for that too. we need to be invloved in this next year, perhaps with brewce martin on our team....

the winter is over and the shakedown on indoor parks has begun. rumor has it the avon park will be closing. elevation is a park in ft. collins run by bikers. they got rid of their wacky and very cool mini bowl. and finally vans westminster, home to one of the best clover bowls ever, is closing its doors on JUNE 22, 2003. that one really hurts. bruce said its like finding out your friend has cancer, and only 2 weeks to live.

RC/MC is finishing a park in orlando that will have a 9' bowl and killer flo course. team pain keeps crankin'em out there, the latest is in oviedo and includes a spine and 9'6" bowl. it looks fun, check the pic in my parks section. then hilers backyard compound got a 9' addition to the vert ramp, complete with hip and pool coping. addin all the pools that have been going around, and you got a fine destination for skating.
