this lil town of ward, or a few people in it, started getting things going for a skatepark. somehow the nederland skatepark (down the road) became the site of a benefit for the ward skatepark. bands played, kids skated, adults donated. this is the first time i got to see 'the ft collins kids' skate. wow. they remind me of the fork crew- traveling in a posse and skating something thoroughly
