after going here once, i thought it was a really cool place, but ill never get back. sure enough, about 6 years later we were driving through that area needing a place to camp and revisited this place- i like to think of it as the moon. on the second visit, we rolled in really late and the moon was clear and full. the erosion patterns are worth the trip, day or nite.

lets start with the start. theres only 1 road in there, to the campground next to the site. then just wander over into these hills.

this is looking east, where its flat forever. in the corner of nebraska

everything is appealing, whether up close or far back

this would be a cool place to play with your star wars figures and ships

you know theres monsters in these caves

different rocks and soils erode at different rates. this makes for some smooth toes

early mourning is a pretty sick time. so is sunset. so is a bright moon....
