john baise, bruce adams and other skatepark builders were staying at this hotel in hickory, nc until they realized how shady it was there. a couple days later they came back and bribed the management to skate the pool. they rented a pump, cleaned the gnarl up and skated the shit out of it for a couple of hours. this was back in fall 03.









i told barry about it a month or so ago (3.04) and he went and scoped it out. its way full now, but 1 sign remains of the last sesh....
