i guess i just think skateboarding to be too special to be driven by tv. so thats the biggest bother with going to these things- everything is done for tv. the session literally gets stopped so they can flow it all in with commercials. like there isnt enough commercials with the 20 foot high product banners all over this huge indoor arena. oh- the people watching on tv cant see the jumbo cam which has been shoving bam and right guard right at us all nite long. but seeing it on tv must be just hell, with those corny announcers and showing buckys bail 5x while not showing maxs blindside ollie to fakie over the huge channel. who picks what gets shown? sponsors i guess. so all that shit and more sucked, but luckily i saw this skateboarding contest without a corporate filter and it was pretty fuckin cool. those guys have the hardest tricks dialed and go really high. its a precise and calculated type of skateboarding with the ultimate goal being the ultimate line for the sesh. (i think) its fun to watch and im stoked skateboarders are getting paid good, because they deserve it way more than those team sport players of some stupid ball games.

pa vert primate buster has some great style and choice of tricks. the frontside heelflip looks worthy of some slo mo for the viewers at home
