i went to south street alot as a punk rock kid, but never noticed these gardens. they're the epicenter of isaiah zagar's mosaic art. he does crazy murals all over the south street area, but it all sprawls out from his gardens. theres a shop and then you head downstairs and outside. what i like the most is what he's done, he's done with trash and it looks great. at some point you have to stop looking at all the details because you'll never get out.
