hermit pass, sangre de cristo mountain rangeever since i got my topo map of colorado i've wanted to check out the sangre de cristo mountains. they stick out on a map full mountains because they are high and narrow. the hermit pass summit is like being on the top of a mountain spine. you can see both ways forever.
